Hi
??? ??? ???
I have installed new radios and hydraulic steering on the cat
Question is .. Would you spray the radios with innox mainly the backs of the radios before hitting the salt water or is there other stuff more suitable
plenty of salt spray in a cat ::) ::)
Same with the hydraulic rams they are on the back floor and does get a lot of water down there
????

electronics - i would contact the manufacturer.
failing that I would isolate them - put them in a protective cover - even a glad platic bag. My radio the back side is inside the console, the front side in a slaph proof cover set up.

I wrecked a radio by spraying WD 40 onto/into the back of it,burnt out the second I turned it on.I'm with Webby, lanolin is the way to go,I use Lanotec GP 21 on the plugs of my electronics, motor, trim & tilt rams,Hydraulic steering...everything,it is non conductive up to 70 KV,Lucky Phill can put you onto the best place to get this stuff if you want it.

GO FOR A LANOLIN BASED PRODUCT.STAY AWAY FROM THE AEROSOL TYPE AS THE PROPELENT IS WHAT WILL GIVE YOU GRIEF.
I USE IT ON EVERYTHING AND NEVER HAVE ANY PROBLEMS.
AS WITH MOST THINGS MARINE THE MORE IT COST THE BETTER IT IS
