Has anyone tried Fins PRT?

I have, on recommendation from a couple of mates who swear by it. I find that it doesn't fray anywhere like fireline or spiderline after a day on the rocks. Only problem i find is that bl!!!dy yellow powder gets around the line roller and has to be scrubbed off. It is as strong as, casts brilliantly, and doesn't float, thereby wrapping around the boat prop like some of the other braids.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Peter

Thanks Peter
What sizes have you tried? I have just ordered 500 yards of 80 pound for my TLD 20 2 speed. Will be reef fishing and a bit of Jetty fishing on Harvey bay in two weeks time. I have chosen 80 pound because it is thin enough to get the whole 500 yards plus maybe 10m of 80 pound Ande leader while hoping it is hefty enough to handle easily. I have only seen 50 pound PRT and it looks very very thin. By late may I should have put it through some hard use. I will post about how it went.

An update on the FINS PRT 80 pound. It is very good, handles very well, had to get a few wraps around a hand caster to break of snags (in most cases I broke the windon leader to swivel knot and never broke the braid) which shows how well it knots. I used bimini for double, albright for attaching the windon and uni to the swivel. I didn't have any problems when trolling.

Sorry about not replying earlier. I use the 30 and 50 lb fins. Its as strong as, but that bl!!1dy yellow powder stil hasn't worn off. I used the 50lb on a Tica dolphin 1000 with a 8' custom made fsu 896, off palm cove pier , throwing surface poppers for those GT's. No problem, even when one ran around the pier.

The yellow powder is very annoying. I must have looked like a wierdo comming off the boat with a yellow rod, reel, clothes, hair and face. The braid it self is very good. It will be interesting to see how the line holds up over time when it has lost most of the yellow stuff

It also comes in Green, in all of the weights and spool sizes.
