I have two reels that need servicing after going through a lot of hard work, just wondering what it generally cost to get them done at a tackle shop. One is a tld 25 overhead and the other is a tss4 spin reel.
I usually give them a good clean after each outing, but i think they are about due for a bit more care.
Just wondering what a sort of dollars it will cost to get them serviced .? Any recommendations too on where to get them done too.
I live on the South side of Brissy.

Thanks Dan [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

take them to Mossops at woolongabba, they have around a week turn around on reel servicing and have very good techies that perform the work - if you ever want to see your reels again dont send them to shimano (dunphy) or daiwa - the turn around if they will do them usually is a month or so, and probably more expensive when usually all that needs to be done is replace drag washers etc - if you have the schematics and everything is in working order, go to a tackle shop and order the parts yourself and replace them yourself - much cheaper and easier if all u have to do is replace drag components

Danp,

Contact Jack Erskine, he is in Qld.

He quoted me $40-00 to service my Calcutta 251 & he has an extremely good reputation.
