Another Skirt Question

These pics are of the offending skirt, it must be spinning as I had a lot of line twist, had 3 other skirts out rigged the same, different style heads and hook placement different but rigged the same with no problems with them. Why did this one spin.

Might be the speed you are trolling at. I find that wih most of my troll baits and lures speed is often the factor causing spinning

speed was between 6 and 9 knots, have been studying the pakula site and also checking commets in your post. The only thing I can come up with is when it was put out, the hook somehow got on the side of the loop and the water pressure kept it there so it would have had the hook poking out the side of skirt.

main prob is your hook, its offset, big nono.

There is a little offset, not much. I have the same hooks on all my skirts and this is the only spinner.

Blaze, I would also be running that hook further back, with the point at the end of the skirt or further, this is the hook type and rig I use for light tackle.

Going to remove my hooks and change them all, I will also tighten up the loop where it connects to the hook because I think the major prob was the hook got caught on the side of the loop. Frustrating when only 1 of dozen or more decides to spin. Thanks for the pics
