posted a week ago about a reel for offshore purposes. am now looking at a rod to match it. id prefer a rod with a sensitive tip to feel bites (with around 30-40lb braid) but enough guts to do the job. this rod may also be used for lbg off jetties. any info would be appreciated. i think my takle store recommended a wilson livefibre maybe?? something like that anyway ::)
cheers

Landy,
agree with the others,
i have a tld 25 spooled with 50lbs live fibre tx smoke briad (.3mm dia) on a 15-24kg texalium live fibre. Works really well and plenty of lift power with great sensitivity at the tip, not sure about of the jetty work?
