hey guys any opinions on the best place to pick up blanks,guides etc. for attempting to build my own rod...am looking for a place with the best range of stock..OH and prices ;)

The mudhole is amazing, Dave sent me the link. If you are in the Brizzie area get into one of the bigger tackle shops and compare prices, I think you will find buying online is competetive price wise.

Are you still trying to source rod blanks?
Send me a PM and I'll put you in touch with a guy who I have bought a few from over the years. He buys seconds, surplus stock from the auctions and has fair stock. He will also be able to supply guides, butts, winches etc.
