I recently got a tackle box with jumbled gear. I am pretty sure this lure is for tailor. Any one else hav any other ideas..??

Its still a current type lure, great fot tailor but much wider applications as post above. Start by throwing into a beach gutter with a medium/fast retrieve

Might want to put a split ring and swivel on the front of that slug to avoid line twist. Have caught - tailor, trevally, mackerel, tuna, queenfish, dart, tarpon, salmon (Aus), yt kingfish, cobia, snapper, mahi mahi, cuda, coral trout and mangrove jack on similar items. Depends where and how you use them. Only use 'Sliders' for spinning and jigging now though.
