G'day all.JUst wondering if everyone used one of this before as i thinkin about gettin one from e-bay.The advantages seems to be endless ,imagine to be able to read any river -surfbeach-estauary in about a 100 feet radius from the bank .Anyway any info would be great .TA

I assume you are talking about one of the humminbird sounders that you attach to the end of your line and cast out. The lack of pixels on the screen would make interpreting the data difficult but depending on cost you may think it worthwhile. You can see the features of the product by clicking on this link.

thanks snakecatcher ,these are not humminbirds but chinese counterfeits .it never seems to amaze me how fast are they copy everything

Cheers for the link snakecatcher. Landbase sounders would be perfect for rivers and billabongs in the bush. Will definetely look into it for sure. Cheers.
