Does anyone know of a company that makes a 8 foot spin stick that is rated at 10-15kg???? Having a bit of trouble finding one.

I'd look at a Wilson Livefibre 15-24kg Overhead rod. It behaves more like a 15kg outfit rather than 24kg

I take it you're looking at a spin stick to go with a spinning reel - not an overhead.
I use an 8-10kg live fibre (8 foot) for everything from casting slugs at Tuna on 4kg mono to pulling trout out of coral on top of shallow reefs on 30lb braid.
Sure it's a bit sloppy for the latter-mentioned task but it's never let me down on trout up to about 8kg. If you've ever fished up on the hard reef you'll appreciate there's no room for niceties. If I can't stop em on the live fibre, out comes the 80lb handline.
It combines a really soft tip with plenty of balls where you need it and a good deal of shock absorbtion when fishing braid.
I doubt there's a better stick for casting slugs for under $200.

Thanks for the reply Heath, I've already got a Wilson Livefibre 15-24kg Overhead rod & aren't they a nice piece of gear.
Sorry, I should have stated that I will be running a Spheros 14000FA coffee grinder with 30lb mono on this rod for fishing in 40-60m.
Whooshka, you've now got me thinking about trying the 8-10kg live fibre. Just a bit worried about the tip if I was running 30lb in case I have to high stick it with a fish beside the boat. What do you reckon???
Thanks,
