"feathers" teasers?

hi all :)
just wondering if you folks are allowed to use what us pommes call feathers ?
generally minimum 3 hook rig like large sabikis .
only reason i ask ive never noticed anyone mention them :-/ but they account for a lot of fish over here.

Hi mate, another Pom here. :D Yes, I use 'em all the time as paternoster tackle. When you buy 'em made up (on special) they're cheaper than making your own as most of 'em are rigged in Vietnam. I always tip 'em with a bit of bait though.

I think you're probably referring to the ones similar to a string of mackerel feathers or the big white ones that we used to use in the Scottish sea lochs for cod and pollack. I've not seen 'em jigged here in that fashion. The smaller ones are jigged, but they are mainly used to catch baitfish.
