Just wondering if anyone knows where you can get Shimano Raider rods for $99?

Brandon at Tackle World in Nind St Southport will normally match anyone elses price if you can show evidenc of it. I found the best price for a Barra Raider and Shimano Corado combo on the net ($369) when most shops have it for $499. He matched the price, so I saved on the postage and any other issues from buying on the net.

So, if you are on the Gold Coast, find your best price on the net and drop in and see Brandon. Make sure you have the web address as he will go on line and check it out.

I did hear that the Raider range has just been revamped, so you may be able to pick up an obsolete model somewhere for the price you stated. Don't quote me on it. Most places I know that sell Raider rods are asking aound $12oish mark. Have you checked the Big Children in Fishing? They sometimes have good prices on these models.

From my experience Steven, that shop is pretty expensive unless there is a sale. That was on general camping gear, so might be different on fishing gear.
Plus many of their staff know as much about their stock as a Woolies check out chick. Just my view.

try Campbells Protackle....seen some on there for $119...but there was that many different kinds....unsure what model you wanted...ps they have an awsome web site...cheers Mick

i bought a light raider rod for spinnig at tackle warehouse on old cleveland rd. think its in carindale, a few days ago for 99 bucks

likewise at Tackle warehouse. Clearing out old range for new models that are suppose to be arriving soon. Don't have to pay freight either. Camp Hill Spaice

There is one with a Daiwa reel on it in the For Sale section on this site too... Being sold by Dodgy Back.

I saw this rod/reel today, and it's in very good condition! It's a steal for $90!!!
