The other day i decided to give my cork grips a bit of a make over. I gave all the older rods a light sand and gave them a lacquer. They came up really good and i thought some people might be interested. Only took me 2 hours for 8 rods. Hears some pics.
Cheers Nick

Heres 1 with the older rod in the middle for comparrison. The rod on the right is fairly new and didnt need sanding but the one on the left is a couple of years old and came up alot better than i thought it would.

When I first get a rod with cork grip, I just melt some wax on and rub it in. Protects the cork from stains and smells and has the added bonus of increasing grip.
