A limp rod !

I had a post many weeks ago on fishing plastics and a new combo. The shimano symetre was mentioned with a few rod combos ;)

Have seen the same reel with a Shimano rod for $199, looks the goods but does have a commercial name on the rod (a SHIMMANO ;))

Would you take the name on the rod or look for something proven. ;)

Mate generally on the rod itself it will have specifications from the factory, if these arent there then I would say that it is a dodgy custom job and might be worth steering clear of...
