Barra slick rigs

Hi All,

I am new to this site. I have read a lot it is a great site
Heard a lot of these slick rigs and wondering what size and what colours are the best for barra? :-?
Also do they have different weights and what is the recommended weight?

hey matt,

Firstly, welcome to ausfish.

slick rigs they work. i tend to favour the 110mm but you can convert and downsize to the 80mm if your gettin hits just not hooking up. All the colours work.

iv heard on the streets that the Drop Bear and Black Gold colours work best. Aound 110 size seems to be the go.

Everyone has there preference, and I suppose that I would have the full range and colour.
My preference is for Drop Bear in 110MM.

Tip - buy one packet of Slick rigs in one colour and spare packet of tails in another colour. Helps to keep your cost down.

Thanks every one for the tips on the slick rigs i will have to get me some and try them out this week end at monduran. :)

All of the slick Rigs work on barra from 80mm up to 130mm in any color,you just have to get them infront of the barra in the right depth and at the right time of the day.
