stick on reading lenses

has anyone tried these stick-on lenses before? i have been using them for years,tyey are like a half contact lens that you wet then stick to the bottom of your polaroids, then you dont have to change to readers when you want to tie on hooks ,etc
they last for years, can be taken on- off easily , but dont fall off they come in all magnifications as well , if interested i will post some pikkys. hubby

I'd be interested hubby. Never heard of them before.........probably because it's a cheaper option and the opticians wwould rather you went for the dearer one ::) ;D

It's just cost me nearly 500 bucks for graduated lenses, (so that I don't have to keep swopping pairs) and some polaroid clip ons.

Hubby - it would be worth posting more info..specially for those of us over 40!!! (so my optician says - cheeky bugger!) I have graduated glasses, no probs., but my polarized opnes have my long distance prescription in them for driving etc. No bloody use for hook tying in the daytime!!!! Keeps my son amuzed as I struggle to re-rig while he lands fish!!

turns polaroids into bi focals, no changing glasses, or risking losing expensive prescription ones.just wet them stick them on till you want to take them off i, i have had them on for 1 year without coming off , they are fantastic. hubby

come in there own case ,change them onto other glasses easily, just peel off and stick to other pair,they are about 2ml thick.hubby

get them from america for $25.00 delivered , can get them in australia, but they cost about $60.00 hubby

I have not yet seen these but certainly would be a cheaper option.Will have to look into these and see how they work.

For someone that frequents this site as much as you do you should have read one of my post's by now regarding sunglasses.$300 could have got numerous amounts of tackle or maybe a new outfit for offshore.Only saying this because i only charge $200 for polarised progressive lenses.

Thanks for that Dazza. I didn't know that you were in the business as I've never read a thread on sunglasses. I've never prioritised them till now. Whenever I'm near an "OP SHOP" I have always scanned over their cheapy glasses and have managed to score about 12 pairs of good polaroids over the years and managed with those. Nowadays though, they're redundant as I can't see without prescription glasses. Do you do the frames as well?

We do have frames but not a great deal in the sunglass range.We are primarly a manufacturing lab.Basicly i can make any lens that is required.
