What are the best rod and reel combos for catching trout?

mate any of the diawa spin reel range up to 2500 will do the trick i use the 1500 capricorn and the new sol range they are brilliant also the shimano range are great as well my symeter is a hardy reel and with 6lb braid it works a treat,the rods i use are 2 to 6kg strudwicks and diawa heartlands my mate makes custom rods in all those ranges and they are the best i have got very similar to the loomis blanks hope this helps a bit cheers AL ps price is up to your budget the higher you go the better quality you will get.
