thanks mate,
they are pretty cheap through mo,
might have to put in an order.
has anyone seen em locally on the GC/Brissy though
if ya call up a few of the brizzie tackle stores, i think they have em, saw them a while ago though.
they seem to work alright, though i keep hearing jackalls work better, yet to get out and test this theory though.

I too think the Jackalls work better, but the G-Vibes catch fish, and I am not as upset when I lose one as opposed to a Jackall. :)

The G-Vibes work pretty well for me, and they are at a good price. Pick them up cheap at any good tackle store.

like i said before i fished with both over the weekend and didnt notice a difference,
every single run through the school would produce a fish, the load was evenly spread over vibes and jackalls, if anything i think the vibe had more.
why pay $20 more for something that does the same job??
i just love collecting lures thats why u bought them

Yep agree with that ;) they work well but I don't think they rattle as much as a real jackall. They also don't have as much weight as a jackall witch restricts you if fishing from the bank ;)
Now the diawa rip offs work just as well if not better ;) but at around the same price its just as big a loss if you do loose one :-[

Other Jackall rip off is the Phantom/Tungsten Vib made by River2Sea. Picked up a couple on the weekend for half the price. Could not tell the difference with the Jackall. Will let you know how I go with them.

Tackle Warehouse. Not far from where they have the Jackalls. Ask Andy - he put me onto them when I was wavering about spending a heap on the Jackalls.

Iknow 'Go Camping' in nerang carry kokoda. Not sure if they are the ones you want though.
Brett
the mart has them at all stores. cheap too, dont mind losing them. They also carry the river2sea tungsten and baby vibes. also quite cheap. I think it works out 5:1 on the kokodas and 2.5:1 on the river2seas.(thats the ratio of cheapies to jackalls)

I have found the TwinVib from River2Sea to be absolutely excellent. It is every bit as good or better than the Jackalls and costs about $10 each. I now have 9 of them in all colours and cannot fault them (well maybe the hook quality but no different to Jackall - easily substituted for better.) They have a very deep rattle which can be heard 50m from my boat!!!!!! When I go to Moogerah I can hear the fish pick up the lure and shake their head before I feel it sometimes - caught me out the first time!
Give em a try.
Sounds good Wardypig ;). Is that the sound of the rattle being transferred up the braid to the graphite in the rod. I've heard this with the berkley frenzy but not more than 15m out. Have you experimented with the dual tie points? Would like to hear your thoughts.
Cheers, roo.

i know thay have a couple of tungsten vibs at the sports store on the main drag of nambour (curry st) thay have about 4-5 left . i gave one to my mate to use and has used this lure 4 the last 7 outings where as i have been using jackalls, all but 1 of the bass we got where cought on the tn60 but the one fish that he did get on the tungston vib was a nice fat 38cm . maybe he needs to get a kakoda , we will test this out (jackall v kokoda ) and let you know ausfishers. :D
(river to sea tungston vib 1 bass, jackall tn60 9 bass )
nuggstars lure test 4 last 7 trips. ;D ;) ;) :)

It's horses for courses IMO.
I have given Tungsten Vibes , Kokoda G-vibes , and Cultiva Mira Vibes equal opportunity with Jackall TN60 and Jackall Mira Vibes and have found the Jackalls outfish the others 3 to 1 on average. They all work fine, just that where I fish, the jackalls catch more fish.
If I found that the others outfished the Jackalls I would put em away, as they are bloody expensive- but the fact remains for me that they are catching more fish.

All new colours in tn50-tn70 and chubbies.
Various frogs - Apparently these were used by the master at Awoonga just recently at the abt tournament.
And then the mother - the big 180 and the price to match

Roo,
I have tried both towing points and can't really find much difference except maybe a slightly tighter action on the front one. I can tell you that they will get down to 4.5 metres on a steady troll (which I think is excellent). I think the sound is being amplified and transmitted through the alloy hull of my hornet trophy. I would be happy to show you how well they go at Moogerah if you are out that way one day. The greeny-yellow one works best out there I have found.
All, don't get the Tungsten Vib confused with the Twin Vib. They are very different.
See website for details.
Wardy.
Wardy,
Could be some amplified through the hull, but I've heard it when fishing them from the bank????? and in my polycraft too!! ;) I've been thinking of trying out moogerah one day....hoprfully soon as with the weather heating up, the fish should get real cranky and be even more willing to smash some lures ;D :D :D

Went out there again today and guess which lure was the stand-out!! It is definitely a confidence lure for me in Moogerah.

I have tried heaps of different lipless cranks and but never the expensive types.
It is time to give it a go and I have chosen jackall tn60 but I am not sure what colour for chasing yellow's
happy to here some feedback on successful jackall tn60 colours
