wellington point reef

We fished Wellington Point reef on friday the 14-12-01......fished from 2pm till 9-30 pm....conditions were not the best with a 1 metre northerly swell and wind gusting to 15 knots
Managed to catch 3 squire to 34cms and 1 sweetlip at 38cms....heaps of under size squire caught just on dusk...all returned to the water.
Also had 1 good run on a 30lb line....took out 250metres of line before i tightened up the drag and the fish snapped the line....my guess is that it was a big shark....not running fast enough to be a mackerel.

where is wellington point reef ? I'm not after the gps points just the general location I fish morten bay and have not heard of this place ? just some land marks would be greatly helpful to my self . if you don't want to leave them on here email me at adrian@ausfish ;)
a little help will go a long way towards maybe catching something and nothing ?
