Montague Island

Fished for kings out at the Island on Sat 22/12/01. Had a great day, easily bagging out ;DWe only used jigs as we forgot the bait. We got a hell of alot of kings about 1-2cm under legal but the legal ones we got were all about 65-85cm. Had the pleasure of hooking my first shark out there a 6-7ft bronze whaler on a rapala on a 6kg baitcaster with 8kg line which I usally use for fun on the kings had a good 10 minute fight but it wasnt to be he ended up biting through the line and taking a brand new rapala :-X. Overall it was another great day fishing at the Island. ;D
