Green Island

Did a short trip to Green last night arrived about 5-00 in the evening fished the run out in about 2 meters of ater. Fresh squid the bait for 6 grassies and 1 yellow sweety plus 2 moses perch. Best grassy was 42cm the rest 35 to 40cm. Yellow sweety went 54cm. Not a bad result for a couple of hours of relaxation.

excellent result, Terry. The secret to fishing the bay is ( mid-week ), but don't tell anyone else.

Yes Terry, your catch is well above average.
Been heaps of small sweeties around, good to see a few keepers hitting the eskies.

Good catch Terry. I caught over 50 undersize last time out at Wello Point with a lot of Sweetlip between 25 - 29cm.

If you don't mind can you advise which side of the island you fished and approx depth of water. I might give Green a go next time I'm out that way, if the weather ever clears for those of use locked into weekend fishing because of work.
