trolling off straddy

Picked a good day ;D flat as can be early and some breeze coming home, put in the hours trolling and went out to the 50s but all rather quiet on the marlin front, not much bycatch either, but tomorrow is another day. saw a pod of dolphins that would of been in the hundreds that was the highlight, they were more excited by the teasers than the fish thats for sure!

The uncle said he was fishing in the shallows around the group on thursday and a sticky came right up to the boat.

Kev, you at least feel confident with rods sticking out everywhere but its no guarantee lol, gave the group a good going over, nothing but runners, thats where most of the bait was today.. yeah Jamie its a rainbow runner, big motor on them for the size :o

hi lee, that particular one has recently had some problems, wont disengage ??? ratio is ok for 8 kilo line but no winching power for deepwater jigging ??? reminds me i gotta write the report and hand it back!
