off to a bright and early start and got the self imposed quota of half a dozen macks.. including jacks it was a bakers, gotta love this summer fishn we were on our way home by 9 am ;D

I also hooke donto what me and rob reckon was a cobia bloody powerful and headed straight to the beacon, it didn't seem like we had a chance to start with!

A good feed there guys and you didn,t have to go all the way to Hervey bay to catch them either.......pity you lost what may have been a nice cobia Jack but once they get around those posts its all over red rover.
Must get out this weekend and have a go at donging a few macks.

These are Schoolies and NOT Spotties like H/Bay. You'll never loose any around a Beacon at H/Bay. H/Bay is never crowded. H/Bay is ( away ) from Brisvegas. I only lost 4 slugs over 200 fish at H/Bay. Alwaya a chance of a Golden, Long tail, etc at H/Bay. Need I go on.

All the way, shoot Brent, it's only just over 3 hrs from Brisvegas.

and yes rob pretty much catches a feed where he fishes mostly coz he puts the time and petrol into catching a feed and also experience ;)
