Weather was pretty average considering the forecast and it was quiet rough early for what they predicted, with jeffo and Mick on board we headed out, water was blue again :o ;D within a few miles of the bar lines were going off left right centre and corner etc, dolphin fish were on :o nothing big averaging around 70cm but top fun and we iced a nice feed down and Jeffo got a tag in a couple, we pottered around out there all day looking for the billfish and late in the day we had action, I dropped a decent fish unseen, and soon after we had a billfish after one of the lures, time and again it would charge the lure and not eat it but Jeffo was onto it and hooked up, it was a nice sail, after a good battle we had it at the boat and tagged and released, Soon after Mick dropped a good fish again unseen and we called it a day.

another day with rob- another billfish!! i have said it before and i will say it again... fishing for beakies out of a big game boat is a comfortable way to fish but there is nothing in the world that comes close to getting bills out of a small tinney! :D
had a top day yet again. good to finally meet mick ( and see him put into practice the art of burleying for bills whilst on the troll ::) ;D)
was very gald to finally see that sail eat the lure after a few frustrating moments!
hopefully we will do it again sometime soon ;)
thanks heaps rob and mick.

WHAT A RIDE! the swells got the best of me though BEFORE they were off the chew :-/ :-/ I'm convinced that my burleying helped enticed the sailfish!!! good to see jeff with an awesome fish, tagged and released! pity about the other two unidentified hookups!! (one leaving billy marks on the line >:( >:( :-/ :-/ but still a great days fishing!!! great to finally get out and meet you jeff, A pleasure!!!
