Barra in the Dams: Eungella and Faust.

was lookin to find out what these dams are fishing like at the moment....mostly interested in Barra but sooties as well.
all info appreciated.

Can't help you on Faust - try the Faust web site www.peterfaustdam.com

On Eungella the sooties are still going very well (and hopefully will continue that way through to the 18th April when the World Sooty Champioship Series kicks off up there). Barra are a different proposition. They can be difficult to find (don't know why as over the last couple of years there has been plenty put in there) but when you do find them you seem to get a few. The best places are shallow water (less than 10ft and I prefer around the 3ft mark) where there is plenty of laying timber. The fish are in fantastic condition so they go well.
