Hi there Folks.......The wife and i left Rudy Mass at 3pm Saturday arvo for a trip down to the Gold Coast Seaway.
Talk about boat traffic.......was like rush hour on the southeast freeway.......big cruisers and small boats everywhere.
Our destination for the night was the Logs in the Broadwater.
We anchored up as the tide was on the last of the ebb and threw out some fresh mullet strips on very small hooks.......This area is well known in the winter months for big bream.......Not many bream there as yet but we did catch 3 breambos, 6 small snapper(27cm) and 2 shovel nose rays...All released.
Prized catch for the night were BIG sandies.
The wife managed to snare 2 at once on her line and i caught the other one and dropped 1 at the net.
Fresh sandcrab is on the menu for tonights dinner...MMMMMM can,t wait.
The journey home this morning was excelent........glassed out all the way back to the ramp.
Heading out onto the Bay early morning Monday for some bottom bashing with plastics and Jigs around Harry,s and the Rouse area.
See you out there tomorrow.
Cheers Brent ;)
