Today off Brunswick was 'going off' again! Final tally 6 Spanish, 4 spot and 3 wahoo kept! We stopped fishing early cause we had no room left in the ice box. Lost 2 Hex Head lures and my favourite Halco lure. The wahoo were thick and all around 5 to 6 feet long. We had them schooling under the boat for an hour or so while sight casting live slimies to them. I've done a little bit of fishing in the past 20 years but sight casting livies to big Hoo was up there with the best I have ever experienced! Hope you enjoy the shots. More in June BushnBeach Fishing mag. Cheers

Looks like an awesome morning down there Mono,

The weather seemed as perfect down there as what it was up here ,,,,Glassed out most of the day ...Nothing better ...

I found some of those Secret Halco's you like at Big W up the coast last week.....

If I find any more , you want me to send em down to ya ?

Went to the same spot today after landing a few spaniards in close and the hoo were there again! Only lost 2 lures today but landed 3 thumping hoo.
Adam thanks, but graham at Anglers Warehouse at the Gold Coast has got some in stock (on hold for me, sorry). He also has some TLD 25's on 15kg Backbone shimano series for $300. for the combo. Thats excelent value but only has 10. Give him a call if interested.
The spotties weren't quite as thick today but I think most people bagged out on the local. The cobia today were very active with some big schools just wide of the local.

May your ratchet keep screamin'. Capt Mono
