Fished the Northern Side of Peel on Sunday Night. Very quiet in the early evening, just the usual run of Grinners.
Then about 10.oo pm the North wester picked up to 20 knots and chased us around into Horseshoe Bay.
Just got anchored near the northern headland within sight of the wreck when the wind was noticed to have swung further around and now be a south wester, bugger it >:(, stuff it we stay here and suffer it out till morning.
after a very rocky night, we uped anchor and headed back to the original spot. Very ordinary again, more grinners and the odd undersized squire and Sweetlip.

At 7.30 am we changed tactic and headed toward Goat Island for a Bream Session. Unweighted baits thrown into the shallows produced a nice haul of snodger Bream to almost a Kilo ;D ;D

Wind started to kick in around 10.30am so packed up and headed for Manly Boat Harbour.

Still searching for that illusive Snapper ::) ::)

Cheers
Craigie.

Still a long winter to come yet mate, we'll have you on the board soon ;D
mate the way your chewing hours up in the OLD ;D Cyclone, she'll be worn out by chrissy.
We'll ave to team up and have a go at the King Of the Pin, so Touchy old freddy boy doenst try and claim all the glory ;D
We'll just feed him a few more green deaths, and he'll end up at the seaway ;D ;D.
Bloody Peel island havent fished there for yonks. Rainbow or goats the better option ;D, good to see the bream early at goat, looks like a few night trips are in order there this winter.

G'day Webby,

80 hrs up on the Cyclone in 10 weeks :o :o, might have to slow down, can't afford the 100 hr service for at least 6 months.

Yes mate, I'm available for any Snapper trip ;D

'King of the Pin' should be a lot of fun, not sure if my spots will produce anything over a kilo (Bream), but then again, Touchy's might not produce anything over 500 grams :-X ;D

Just read your latest in 'Bush n beach', Your info was spot on for the Rocky shallows of Goat Is ;D ;D. Bummer, don't think we can fish there for King of the Pin ???

Cheers
Craig.
