Gday all
Headed out today with the old man and roota (Thunderbird) of straddie for a weekday fish. Fished near the sevens reef and the fishing was slow and sharks were being a problem but only on my line. Headed to the waverider bouy and caught plenty of dollies as they were thick and kept a dozen for a feed but no real big size to them but great fun. Also bottom fished around the bouy and scored pearlies and parrot before heading to the cathedrals area . action was slow so fished some ground we found on the way out nw of the waverider bouy and caught more pearlies but the current was racing and we headed back to the sevens area for more pearlies before pulling the pin and heading home. Conditions were great but the fishing was slow and alittle bit of work had to be done to get the fish. Ended up with a dozen dollies, dozen pearlies and also parrot.
