Today I got a roll of film developed that had pictures from a couple of trips on it.
The first trip was a night/early morning trip to Muphies, 5 weeks ago. I mentioned on other posts that I caught and released a large cod which was 1.3m long. Not sure how much it weighed as the scales in the boat only go to 25kg. I would estimate it to be between 30 and 40kg.
Here it is ;D ;D ;D

And one final picture. I caught these two fish ( a grassy sweetlip and a parrot) on the SAME hook. ;) They must have been hungry.

Bazzaman & Searaider,
Yep, all but a couple of the parrot were caught on Murphies. We ducked over to Caloundra 5 mile in the morning and picked up a couple of the parrot, but not much was happening over there. Most fish were caught on murphies during the night on the rising moon and then again early morning. The fishing was pretty solid but lots of undersize ones, particularly pearlies - we would of thrown back 5 pearlies for every one we kept.
Muphies does fish Ok Night and early morning. I have never done any good during the day there.
Cheers,
Mark
