Headed out to Barwon banks this morning for an enjoyable days fishing. Scored some pretty good pearlies and hit our bag limit early. Had a bit of a scout around for some new spots and found a few extra fish to add to a nice mixed bag for the day including a 7.5kg cobia.
Cheers
Mark

DC, Ya gotta love a good deckie - lifting heavy anchors, scrubbing the boat, cleaning the fish, all while I have a beer (or two) ;D Just kidding - the most important ingredient in a deckie is good company - cause it is a long swim to shore :o
Mackmauler - it was an early start - got to boat ramp after 3.30 and was fishing on the banks by 4:45am. I like to do it this way as the pearlies seem to school up in the hour before sunrise and then spread out a little after the sun comes out - It is like they get togther for an early morning breakfast meeting before heading out on there daily routine. ???
