Hey guys,
Weed was there but not too bad.
Fished WAddy Point mainly,
Day 1:
Got out for an afternoon fish, picked up half a dozen choppers on raiders.
Day 2:
Fished the behc earlyish not much, went out on the rocks couple of small choppers.
Day 3: Went to Indian not much few tailor and dart then around 10 tailor that arvo on Orchid Beach.
Day 4:
Fished the rocks mainly couple of small tailor and dart and bream. and Finally and decentish tailor that arvo
Day 5:
Fished the rocks earlyish, and finally caught some resonable fish. Caught on 2 pound GT on a pilchard tail, great fun, and then a half hour alter hooked up and after 5mins or so a 4/5 pound GT, also very great fun. Then managed a few tailor throughout the day, and then that arvo back to the rocks, rod went down hit it saw something big thrash across the surface and after about 20-30 seconds of blistering speed in which it took all but a few rotations of the alvey of 300m of 15lb line, it finally bit me off above the trace. No idea sharky or big big tailor.
Day 6:
Weed became even thicker managed a few decent tarwhine and a dozen tailor yesterday arvo.
Came home this morning.
All in all a good week, fish were a bit scarce no where near as good as what ive experienced in the past but o well just have to wait until september when I'm back there again.
Cheers,
Jackash.
PS. If you are the guy with the bright orange overalls, let me know when u get back from Fraser as i may have something of yours.

Glad to hear you had a good trip Jack.

I'm hanging out for August when I'll be over for a week :)

I had a nice day out at Ungowa yesterday - although I always look forwards to heading over the eastern side.

Nope, had all the gear ready, everything set up, and of course the weed got nice a thick haha. Bloody weed like it was fishable, but to leave your bait in the water for a prolonged period, then u would pull in the bloody cabbage patch. O well going again in spetember and have the next two weaks to give it ago at otherplaces.
Cheers,
JAckash.
