Hi All,
Well would have to say that today was one of the best fishing days that I have had for quite sometime, was invited to learn how to use some new type of softplastic by Paul Dolan from Fraser Coast Sportsfishing & Eco Tours and what a day I had. The conditions were picture perfect and after getting a few pointers from Paul on how to work these plastics I proceeded to hook into one of my favourite fighting fish the Golden Trevally we fished for around 3 hours and between us nailed 20 odd Goldens ranging in size from 2 Kg's up to 3 Kg's a couple of Mackerel and a couple of Tea Leaf Trevally. Paul also managed a Golden on Fly I wasn't so lucky but will definitely be back in Novemebr to have a crack at them on fly on the flats. Paul is an absolute fish magnet and could find fish in a puddle I'm sure and he is an excellent teacher and extremely patient once again thanks Paul.

Hi All,
Yep the Terminator Snapbacks I had success on the white colour with 1/2 ounce TT jigheads Paul was useing the Blue Glimmer, would have to say these things are incredible like I said in the report we caught in excess of 20 fish including Mackerel and other toothy critters and still had the same plastic on at the end of the session don't know of too many other plastics that would withstand this type of action, and for those couple who said they were wanting to get up and fish with Paul do yourself a favour and do it.

Bomber thanks for the good report but as you know mate just doin what I love doin.It was great to spend the day on the water with ya and hope to do it again soon. The best colour for me in the bay is white or the blue glimmer and the blue glimmer with black fleck for fast fish and the bubble gum is deadly on flathead but I have caught fish on every colour in the range. These plastics are imho the best on the market buy a mile and Tims right the only plastic I use as I can catch anything on them even brim. When the new 4'' and the 2'' grub hit our shores there gunna catch even more fish with the down sizing. The best jig head I've found to use with these plastics are Tackle Tactics tournament series and they have Gamakatsu hooks so there nice and sharp.I've been brainin the bass on them in Lenthalls on the surface and subsurface and recon they would work real well in places like Sommerset.I've got some good pics of them on my web site so if ya want come on in and check them out.And I must say once again a big thanks to Tim for the web space hosted by his site.Paul
