Townsville -Whales

We planned a trip offshore yesterday with a 50/50 chance of conditions being good enough to go.

After 10 miles the swell was to big so we turned around and fished around Maggie for a few undersize Doggies and Nannygaui.

The wife caught a 10 kilo catfish, she was disappointed after putting in such a huge effort to land this ugly thing.

To finish the day off we watch a Humpback whale frolic in the bay for about an hour. two whales were reported in the bay. We only sighted the one, awesome sight.

That's the funny thing about mobiles, you catch people doing some interesting things :o
