i have a 15 foot boat with 40hp. i have a car not a 4wd so im limited to where i put my boat in. Toowoon Bay is no good cause you need a 4wd. i heard there is a launching pad at Terrigal but is it worth the extra drive. Ilike the entrance lake but i prefer and like going out at Cabbage Tree Harbour and i dont think its the location the problem. I just dont seem to find the strike zones like others do. I seem to only catch Sargent Bakers ( i think thats what there called) or some call them Butchers *****s. There is hundreds of them to catch. I have some success with bream and flathead but its been very limited. Ive seen guys bring in Snappers, bream ( squires) , red bream, flathead ( by the dozen). A bloke the other day at the pub was telling me he catches king fish......... all i catch is butchers *****s. He tells me he using Yakka's as bait . What are Yakkas ? People tell me to use live bait . Catch it early in the morning for a hour and then use live bait. Where do i catch the live bait ? How do i catch it ? What type of live bait should i target to catch fish at Cabbage Tree Harbour ? Then find the strike zones ..... I go all over the bay but no luck so where are the strike zones. Have the right set up they say ? Well what is the right set up? What fish am i targeting ? I know you cant catch fish if there not there so im asking what fish is there ? Offshore flathead where are they at Cabbage Tree ???? What bait do i use ? What set up should i have sinkers , swivel, hooks etc ? People talk about time and tide so what is the best time / tide / Moon etc. Ive gone out at 5.00 am and come back at 4.00 pm but still limited success. How do i catch the snappers, bream , red bream etc at Cabbage Tree Harbour. What bait do i use ? What set up should i have sinkers , swivel, size hooks etc ?
Is Cabbage Tree Harbour a good spot to fish ?

G'day Trent
Mate I know where Norah Head is but where the hell is Cabbage Tree Harbour ? This is mainy a QLD based board so do not expect too many replies on this one . You could try www.fishnet.com.au . This has far more members from down your way . Good luck .
