broken duck (my first reefies on SP's)

Well i broke me rubber duck [smiley=laola.gif] on tues with these two nice squire. I caught and released another six which were under size all on SP's. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] ;D ;D the larger one took a squdgie in the black gold colour and all the rest were caught on berkley power baits in the smelt scales colour tried some atomic pdle tails in watermelon candy but only caught slimey macs on them. also scored a lost baby red (or do they school with squire ???) had a great day for about two Hrs [smiley=thumbsup.gif] then Jr deckie started to berly up [smiley=sick2.gif] so we headed back to shore for an early finish.

yep spiro i think there the go alright and super glue gell to fix em reefies givem a fair caneing... have u tried any type of scent to enhance em ???

I'm with SeaHunt. 25HP and a small tinnie.......looks a little washy out there. Where were you? By the way, nice fish, that little Red must have lost his mum or something. :P

seahunt/hutcho sorry about the late reply work beckoned...... the rig is fine i was suprisingly close to shore could see shore no worries..... the hornet is pretty good in the open water and the yammie gets about 40km from 3/4 of a tank good sounder and a GPS to find my way home... squire tasted great, i'm with hutcho on the red def lost.(has anyone else pulled a stray red in a school of squire in close???)
