Ballina 15/10

Fished smaal creek in Ballina today for bream with poppers. There were heaps of fish about with follows on nearly every cast, some casts had 4 or 5 fish around it. Only managed to land 5, but on poppers this is my best effort yet so I'm happy. All fish were released, and I had a great day. Sean ;D

I love Ballina I go there every Xmas usually just fish in North Creek for thumper whiting but now i have a boat i will probably want to head outside. And chase Jew from behind the RSL Club.

Hey jimbob, if you are heading up this way send me a MSG and I can show you what I know (not much really) but I guess a bit of local knowlege as to where the fish are always helps, At the moment I am right into catching bream on poppers, and by summer hopefully bass and Jacks!!! Have found a few great little creeks around lately, but if offshore is your go I have a few GPS marks for some local reefs and a waverider out at sea for dolphin fish...anyway thats if you are heading up and are interested.
