Some nice whiting there chemmy and scott. I'm heading up there tomorrow and will be staying on the water in Noosa Sound, any tips on picking up a few snodger whiting like you have there?? What bait were you using and what section of the river were you fishing?
Cheers,
Dane

hey Dane,
we got them all on live yabbies.have u got a Boat?. anyway we got the yabbies on the bank directly across from the noosa yatch club on the other side of the river.. we pumped them at low tide and fished the tide up on the side of the bank. it was some of the best whiting fishing ive done.

dane,
take ya cast net or bait jig and get some livies and have a go around the munna point bridge. there is always reports of people gettin small GT's around the bridge. and also try the frying pan up near the bar for whiting and flathead.

hey yakka,
someother guy caught the tuskies and he was just cleaning them there. but he did happen to swap us a tuskie for 4 whiting ;D. he was also cleaning big sweetlips and a lot of the tuskfish. he said he caught them at sunshine reef.

That's a nice haul of whiting there. Do you guys stay in the caravan park? Dane might be interested in floating a few pillies and livies around down near the mouth as well as throwing a popper or two, as when we were up there we were getting some nice tailor and trevally on dusk. There seems to be a good number of flatties around as well.
Cheers
