travelled to rooney's thursday afternoon set up camp & had a few cans of beer.

Friday morning up at 3.45am quick breaky & out to the coral patch to fish we caught parrot, sweetlip, nannygai, hussar, pinkies, giant trev, u/size reds in plague & mackerel, shark & a number of unstoppables back at camp by 4.30pm

Saturday up same time to fish early, caught same as day before but got 2 cobia some bigger sweetlip the biggest going 54cm & mac tuna & yellow fin tuna had a great time

Sunday pack up & home

Looks like you had a ball mate! A good bag of mixed reefies and some cobes and tuna,
Ya did well mate, and snagged some reasonable weather for it too.

well done that is a nice feed for sure. that should have filled your freezer for a few weeks.

well done kleiny looks like you had agreat time mate. are you interested in fishing the herve bay family fishing competition next weekend. send me a pm if you are keen mate we are going to fish the gutters if the weather permits. you got a great feed of parrot there mate very tasty indeed.

Good catch of reefies. Interesting to see that about half of your hussar were the yellow variety. Only catch about 1 in 100 of that type up at 1770.

3 of us caught them

if your emplying we took to many fish, all fish were legal & we were not even close to most bag limits.

i'm sorry if your jealous

i'm just happy we had a good trip finally & a nice feed of fish.

I think the ones you are talking about there are stripies.
Numbers vary depending on where you fish for them around here.

you'll have to let us know next time your heading up we might let you in on spot x on the coral patch :D ;D :D
were keen to give it another go, only got to fish it for 2 hours & we pulled some nice fish out
