Hi All,
The oldman & I headed back down the broadwater on sunday with orders of fish for dinner from those that shall be obeyed and a new rod and reel to breakin so was worried we were going to come home without a scale ;). Luckily the fish willing to play the game within the first couple of casts with the new rig a little bream was in the boat and then out again. We continued our drift with hits coming regularly for few hookups on small bream and squire. Moved along a bit and got onto a few nice flatty on the slack of high tide, after the tide turned the action slowed a bit and took us a while to get a couple more. All fish were caught on plastics either bass minnows 4" or renosky shads. Was rapted in the new rig a T-curve 2-5kg spin rod and daiwa team advantage 2000 reel so smooth and plenty of feel even with 3 gram jigheads on 4lb fireline.
Cheers
Matty
