I took my son out today as he leave sfor London on Wednesday. It blew a hard South Wester during the morning which made it hard. I also went out to meet my mate in his new Fisher. I finished up going to Wello Point to get out of the wind. I scored a 45cm squire on a plastic for my troubles and the young bloke said his farewells to Moreton Bay for 12 months.

hey mate nice fish. what sort of soft plastics were you using and wat pound line.

I use 8lb Fireline, usually 14lb fluro carbon but that can vary.
The plastic was a 4 inch Zoom Fluke in the Arkansas Shiner colour with a 1/4 oz head. See Duncan at Fishhead if you want them and great advice.
