FNQ Spanish 7/6/05

Up here on hols for a week at the oldies, caught my PB spanish at High island on a slow trolled wolf herring, bottomed out on the old mans 25kg scales. Not a long fish but very wide, photo is taken at home due to bad weather on the water. Went out again today but came home early, due to rain and wind. Cheers Isaac.

Nice one, you must be pretty close to Innisfail Isaac. What area are you fishing?

CamH, Fishing the Franklands, caught it on the southern end of High Island.

Nice looking fish mate, your right about it being fat there is no doubt thats a 20kg + spainish!

Awesome were you far out or pretty close inshore?

Thanks blokes, Devo we were only about 200m of the bottom of the island which is about 4km from the coast. cheers Isaac.
