View Full Version : Off Shore Mackay
First Ausfish post. Fished Penrith Island and sorounding shoals on Sunday. Was fairly slow fishing apart from lots of trevally.Put 4 good Trout on board all around 3.5 kg & released many under sized trout. Also caught 10 sweetlip mixture off redthroat and grassies which are usually around in good numbers and size here . Released 2 good sized Mari Wrass which are becoming a very regular catch.Conditions were perfict.

Hi Pup
Good to hear that you are getting some quality fish in your part of the world , and from the Turkey shots from Perko I will have to have a chop at Turkey again.
I received some shots from Mick G today he did a trip out of 1770 with some great Reds as well
Just have to put some more hours on the 702 more fishing less work
