Fished with Rob and Jay (Fishinmishin) today odd Mooloolaba, heading east and working the area south.. drifting pillies, we scored a few decent cobia..
So Chemmy, THE FISH ARE THERE!!
We tried for snapper, the conditions going out were perfect.. but after a while turned to crap.. so headed back in after dark after giving Curri reef a bit of a bash..

rob, we got out yesterday it was little breezy but no swell. We couldnt jig any yakkas/slimeys to save ourselfs and only ended up getting a few squire, cod and moses.

rob,
big catfish, how'd ya cut their whiskers off ? ;)
how's the Yammy shaping up compared to the Honda ?
I'm thinking of going 4s soon & they'd be the choices.
chris
ps. very nice fish, you would have worked for the bigger one - were they under a tailor ball ?

Yeh your right about cattys chris, ugly pricks, they sure know how to fight, opened up full of spannas, least they got good taste. rising for pilies like there was no tomorrow, floatn em out on a 4 ball.
The tiller changed for the better on the newer model hondas, all the goodies are in easy reach much like the yammies, in that regard the older model honda (i had) was behind the times of yammie though you be hard pressed to pick a difference now, they both perform very similar, I think the honda had a slightly better marlin calling drone though ???
