did a charter on friday with ken radunz from hervey bay fishing charters. i sell plasterboard in hervey bay and was shouted a trip by james hardie so ken was the obvious choice. we left the bay at six and got our qouta of live bait and headed for the southern gutters. first drop on our mark saw a 4 kilo snapper come to the boat. then followed by a plague of trigger fish taking our live baits so we headed to another spot. on this second spot we caught good trout and parrot. everyone on the boat was using 24 kilo mono but i had 8 kilo which was a very bad idea getting smoked a couple of times and catching some undersize red which seems to be the case our there a lot at the moment. undersize reds everwhere at the moment. all in all it was a good day out with everyone getting a feed and i would definately reccomend a trip on hervey bay fishing charters

Going there on the 4-5 for a flying visit and hope to catch up with Tony-M who is enjoying his new found love of impoundment fishing where he got his very first Barra.
Fishing this time unlikley but we can plan for another time and that is what it is all about it is only 3 hours away. [smiley=laola.gif]

no my boss has got the photos will post them when i get them. how have you been mate have you been doing much fishing

Yeh i been alrite went to mooloolaba 2 weeeks ago and did a trip to the banks didnt do 2 bad got a good trout and heaps of other little stuff. having been doing to much working 7 days a week sorta stuffs the fishing scene.

no mate i am building a house at the moment but as soon as i finish i am buying one. I cant wait
