Barwon Bonanza

Ventured out to the Barwons caught snapper, snapper and more snapper and the size went big, big and bigger. We took home 10 snapper, 5 Pearlies, 1 yellowtale about 8kgs and 1 Mowong. Snapper went between 6 and 8kgs and 91cms being the biggest.

Mate when was that - I thought you had headed out through South Passge when I was yyacking to you on the radio yesterday.

The bait captures sounded good when you were talking to Spiro.

Do you have any pics of the pearlies?
Were you useing floters or bottom bashing?
Also where were you northern banks, middle banks or southern banks?

Fantastic stuff!!! Those fish are NOT small!! Wondering whether you got them on pillies/squid or livies. Amazing to see fish of such quality - must have been a hundred or so shown on this site alone in the last few days. Congrats

Bloody awesme fish. They are top quality. I gotta get out there and get me some of them monsters.
The kingy must have put a good fight. How heavy gear were u using?

great fish you make mejealous, was going to head out myself but the missus reminded me I had promised to take her down the bottom end of the bay overnight - caught some nice bream - all over 31 cm and one went 39, nearly 40cm - thought I might have jagged a snapper myself.

Dignity, that is one fat bream. Well, maybe not fat, but sure looks big in the body.

Cheech, she was about 45cm thick at the shoulders.
I still would have preferred to be with outsiderskip on the banks though - he got some awesome fish and the seas so calm.
