Maroochy River

Fished the maroochy river a short while back and managed some huge bream. Best went 46cm and heaps were over 30cm. Saw something huge jump just off a sand bank near the entrance! Also were plenty of tailor working off the Island just inside the entrance. Couldn't cast far enough though.... Spewin. Mullet strip was the way to go for the bream.

Did they have any weight in them? Theres been some good quality fish around lately.

sounds like a great fish , i ve been getting a few bream myself but seem to be only the small ones 23-25 cms dont seem to get any bigger ,i ll have to try a bit harder
