cairns mixed bag

Finally the weather broke for us northerners and i finally got a shot at the reefs out off cairns. Headed to Oyster reef and landed a mixed bag. 12 fish all up, which included trout, spangled and long nose emperor and purple spot maori cod.

Also landed a monster Red bass estimated around 10kg taken on a live hussar.

Good to get a few fish and ill be out there again on Weds. 8-) 8-)

Good on ya Shane. Good to see somebody got the chance to go and wet a line with the conditions on the weekend. I was in townsville for the Cowboys game so missed the chance for a Sunday fish. Weather should be perfect for Wednesday.

yeh thanks fellas........ron im looking at sat and sunday aswell!!! Lookn like a real pearler Sunday!!! Thinkin of maybe a night trip out there this weekend!
