Nice looking fish Kev.
Blood in the boat is great, I love it.
It's when you have to stand on the gunnel while they go ape after throwing them on the floor that you need to worry about something getting broken, or to avoid getting bit.
nothing like a bit of exitement to keep one young.

Well done Kev,
Way to go, keep em coming....don't worry bout the blood 'n' guts, nothin a bit of elbow grease and sweat wont fix.....I do understand the horror at getting ya new pride 'n' joy dirty though, I know what I was like the first time I got my little tub grotty.
Regards
Graeme

Took the rig down to Rudy Maas with the intention of just pottering around at the pin, more to test the boat than to fish. Was such a lovely day decided to pop through the Seaway and test the Furuno. It found me lots of little reefies 3 keeper trevors and this...........my first Cobe at 26lbs. The bugger made a real mess of my nice white deck! ;)

Well done Kev she looks even purdier in the water.
Just one thing, I know it wasn't as good as a ray or catty but you could still force a smile in your pics when you catch one. :P next time

Tony, look at the blood on it's bonce..........I don't think white shoes are a fisho accessory, Whittley or not ;D I always try to gaff 'em under the chin, this one went in the chin and out the top of the head.............I've never seen so much blood :o If I'd've known they bled like that, I would've targeted vermin ;) ;D..............oh, sorry! I *was* targeting vermin ;)

Mate, It's taken 8 months to get the house fully habitable and landscaped and then I've spent that much time looking for a vehicle that the house is now full of dust bunnies. A couple of days home duties should have her up to scartch and then we can settle down to some *seious* fishing :)

Mate, I put in at Rudys travelled up to the seaway and out to the 24's. Then I shot over to Palm and back again. I varied the speed as per the handbook and the most I took her to was 4000rpm with 3 on board and she sat at 45 knots at that in a head on chop...didn't want to push her above, but all the same, I was itching to see what she could really do :)

Yeah mate, What I'd read here had me prepared for the fight, although it didn't give as much of a fight as I expected in fact it was pretty tame and a 6 kilo catty could've done better. I'd never read about 'em going off once boated though and this thing went absolutely ape. There was blood everywhere even on me nice new vinyl seats :D Good job I left the white deck shoes at home. Think I'll go back to the vermin, they're cleaner ;D

Good on ya Kingtin. Nice to see you getting amongst some "keepers". Great looking set-up and I'd probably be happy with the fuel economy for that kind of distance, You covered a fair bit of ground for a decent size boat.
