gaday all justa nice day on the water today before the wind picked up.
flathead the target.
thought some of the classic leftovers would still be around,
had quiet a few droped fish today never seen.
had my daughter and friend peter with me today. fished from swan bay to wallies gutter and everywhere in between. not a lot going on today but still managed to geta few quality fish.
Candice went fishless dew to lack of interest. 3 casts will not land the big 1.
peter started witha 31cm and finished with a 44cm .
i managed a 52, 62 and a 65cm before lunch when stumps was called.
boat traffic was heavy as usual.
this is a 52cm
the 65cm photo not that flash. :-/

A very healthy looking fish, you couldn't have asked for nicer weather than yesterday.

Well done there
DR kindly took me out down to the pin on friday, with the weather being about the same as you had yesterday and we too were targeting flathead.
We managed to boat 3 flathead with only one being a keeper and 1 bream and 1 whiting.
I did catch a fishing rod out the front of short island and later on managed to catch in the fishing net a mobile phone (my own lol)
Leaned over the side and out it came out of my pocket into the drink,
lucky we were in about 3 foot of water lol
Thanks for the day out David most enjoyable.

Hi Jamie
after seeing you at the pin on Saturday didnt have a great deal of luck a lot of small flathead. Sunday was a bit better though, Drifted the same area as Saturday and picked up a 40cm and 45cm ( released)
The only other catch had to be released also 85cm No pics though.
on SP 3" paddle tail minno.
several small Bream released over the few hours before the wind got up too much.
Took a run to Tipplers for breakfast before heading home.

it was good to see you again kendal.
on a different topic are you working?
my labour quit today. gone in search of more money :(
think he's about to be taken a ride though.
you cant pay a labourer 27 bucks an hour and have them pay their own tax.
cos that makes them a contractor. with the insurance problems and ABN requirements.
you cant tell them.
