Well it was bound to happen... Craig, Matt & myself went out for a "quick" run to Mud to try to get some of those snapper that Craig "allegedly" caught the other week (We still reckon he found Sams! ;) ) *ROFLMAO*

Slight breeze on the way out, but nothing major. Got out there and anchored up... Started berleying, tiny picking at the baits... Matt catches a stingray, then a knot (not?) eel... :-/

So we decide to up anchor and move to another spot about 80m away. When you are going to move to another spot, it always pays to pay attention where you're going... We ended up about 2m from where we were!!!

Anyway, found the mark, and Matt got a nice squire of about 36cm. Then I pulled in a sweetie of about 35cm. Craig finally got onto the board with a bream of 29cm and a squire of 35.

One more move, and I got the biggest squire at 38cm. There were a couple of smaller ones, but not too many.

There were a few rumbos for Matt, and a bit over half a bottle of whiskey for me, so all in all a good night! :D We didn't get the "monsters" we were hoping for, but we got a feed, and it was a top night out. The bay glassed out completely during the night, and we were the only boat out there!!! Back at the ramp by about 12:30, and in work at 6... :'(

LET'S DO IT AGAIN BOYS!!! ;D

FREE TIP: Don't drink lot's of booze, and pull funny faces in a photo... It may end up on the internet!!! ::)

None of the other boys wanted photos of their fishies.... Total tally - 1 Sweetie, 3 squire, 1 bream.

We just gonna have to go again for the bigger ones!!! ;D

Thanks Guys,
first CCD charter was most enjoyable ;). Good to put another face to the name , Dan, but I still don’t know about the face tattoo… ::).like Dan says, the fishing was a bit slow but a beautiful warm calm night on the water with a few drinks and a story or two, the fish are a bonus. ;)
Round 2 – ready when you are.
Dan, yep knot eel or not eel because it is a slimy piece of twisting stinking flesh with sharp teeth that doesn’t deserve a real name, I hate those f^%# things. >:(
Cheers,
Chong

Well grasshopper,,, have I not given you enough of my super special spots?? When you have learnt the true meaning of life you will truly understand where the fish are and when we know the greater good is calling. You need to show that respect. The snapper gods gave you your first legal squire. You need to consume and then pay respect to the fish before the brothers and sisters will pay hommage and lay down ther lives for you.

Oh,,,, the youth of today......
